Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Development Manager to join the team in Milan.
The role: The Development Manager will oversee a portfolio of energy storage development projects through development phases, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in collaboration with CIP investment team and CISC specialist teams.
The role will be based in Milan and will report into the Commercial Director.
Responsibilities: Bridge relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure positive negotiations on land rights, deeds, permits, DNO offers, planning and route-to-market interactions where required Lead day-to-day communications with external developers to drive progress and performance Lead bid processes for grid capacity or tolling offtake etc Ensure efficient development process towards RtB and represent CIP investment interests within development Ensure appropriate governance within JV partnership including administration of the Shareholding Agreement and Development Services Agreement Support positive Final Investment Decision in large scale BESS projects by presenting solid execution plans coupled with robust business cases Leverage expert teams and JV partner to solve problems, manage risk and focus on key project fundamentals Manage RFPs and procurement processes as necessary, working together with other Storage Delivery Team members to define and develop most feasible project economics Communicate and report on project and investment portfolio health to internal stakeholders Support CIP as required in preparing investor material & decision recommendations Main Interfaces / stakeholders: CISC Project team CIP Investment / Investment management teams Developers and third-party service providers The right candidate: You will have a verifiable record of project development (and ideally construction) in PV, wind, or BESS in Italy, along with a solid awareness of the dynamics within the renewable energy industry and related environmental subjects.
