Key Responsibilities Design and develop equipment and electronic devices for Valmet machinery for the Converting area. Design technical specifications of new machinery. Conduct engineering analyses using scientific principles to produce and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Interface with other R&D areas to solve any issues related to the machinery and offer improvement solutions. Coordinate with the design, development, production, and customer service teams to ensure activities are aligned and achieve delivery targets. Propose efficient solutions to process and product development. Plan and develop production processes according to customer needs. Develop and use new materials and technologies in line with technological and business advances. Perform machine tests at our Company plants, and if necessary, at client facilities. To succeed in this role you should have Master's Degree in Electronic/Software/Automation/Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. Previous working experience in the automation field will be appreciated. Knowledge of PLC programming and motion control (especially Siemens, Rockwell). Knowledge of simulation tools (mainly MatLab, MatCad). Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. High proficiency with MS Office. Basic competencies in reading hardware diagrams. Excellent knowledge of English and Italian. Strong analysis and problem-solving skills. Team working abilities. Organization and accuracy.
