Key Responsibilities Design and develop equipment and electronic devices for Valmet machinery for the Converting areaDesign technical specifications of new machineryConduct engineering analyses using scientific principles to produce and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specificationsInterface with other R&D areas, in order to solve any issue related to the machinery and offer improvement solutionsCoordinate with the design, development, production and customer service team to ensure activities are aligned and achieve delivery targetsPropose efficient solutions to process and product developmentPlan and develop production processes according to customer needsDevelop and use new materials and technologies in line with technological and business advancesPerform machines tests at our Company plants, and if necessary at client facilitiesTo succeed in this role you should have Master's Degree in Electronic/Software/Automation/Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or similarPrevious working experience in automation field will be appreciatedKnowledge of PLC programming and motion control (especially Siemens, Rockwell)Knowledge of simulation tools (mainly MatLab, MatCad)Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of ThingsHigh proficiency with MS OfficeBasic competences in reading hardware diagramsExcellent knowledge of English and ItalianStrong analysis and problem solving skillsTeam workingOrganization and accuracyOrientation towards innovation and achieving resultsWhat we offer Be a part of a dynamic and collaborative teamEnjoy career growth and development opportunities in a global company.Be part of an organization committed to innovation and excellenceOnboarding planInternal canteen free of chargeYearly training programWhen everything works together Valmet is where the best talent from a wide variety of backgrounds comes together.
