Offer Description: Call n. 27353 / 2024 - The President of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics announces a public selection procedure, based on CV and interview, to award n. 1 Senior Level 2 research grant for conducting technological research at the INFN Structure of Catania on the following topic: "Development and characterization of detectors for dosimetry of particle beams at very high dose rate for FLASH radiotherapy." The grant lasts 12 months.

Covers Other Costs: In order to promote the mobility of researchers, the winners of the technological research grants who have obtained the second level degree in a Province or Metropolitan City other than that where their research grant is seated, will receive an additional economic incentive, provided that they are not resident or have not had the residence or scholarships or other research grants paid by the INFN or other scientific institutions in the three years prior to the signing of the contract in the Province or Metropolitan City of the destination.
This additional economic incentive may be granted for up to 3 years.
Maximum Duration of Fellowship: 12 months
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must hold an Italian or equivalent Master-level degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Material Science, Physics, or Medical Sciences obtained not earlier than 9 years before the call deadline.

Selection Process: The Evaluation Committee will grade each candidate with a maximum of 100 points, divided as follows:
30 points to grade the quality of the CV;70 points to grade the quality of the interview.The minimum grade required to pass the interview is 49 / 70, while to achieve a valuable ranking, the final evaluation, as the sum of the two scores, must be above 70.
At the end of the selection process, the final ranking list will be published on the web page of the call.
