Designer Intern

Position Summary We are looking for a Designer Intern to join our RD team based in Pomezia, Roma.
We offer you an interesting job as a development MCAD designer in the field of medical devices.
You can expect diverse and dynamically developing tasks in the field of mechanical development.
The focus is on the design and maintenance of mechanical components in CAD.
The interdisciplinary global RD teams work with flat hierarchies and demand broadband interest in holistic product development.
Duties Produces documentation (2D prints, labeling, etc.)
for designs provided by senior designers and engineers.
Utilizes required tools to perform hands-on assembly of prototype designs.
Executes engineering test protocols using good lab practices and good documentation practices.
Follows corporate change process to complete assigned ECN (Engineering Change Notice) tasks.
Utilizes design tools (e.g.
CREO, Solidworks) within STERIS Product Lifecycle Management (Windchill) systems to control and release designs.
Education Degree Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Competencies Exposure to technical software design packages (CREO, Solidworks, AutoCAD).
Exposure to technical design documentation (drafting, schematics, layouts).
Hands-on aptitude within the technical area of expertise (oscilloscopes, calipers, hand tools, multimeters).
Proficient in Microsoft products; Excel, Word.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Proficient in speaking English.
