Design Technologist, Amazon Brand Innovation Lab

Dettagli della offerta

Design Technology is Amazon Brand Innovation Lab's custom development and prototyping team that works with advertisers, 1p teams, and agencies.
We focus on the conception, prototyping, and execution of branded custom experiences across the Amazon canvas.
In agencies, such roles are often called Creative Technologists.
As a member of the Brand Innovation Lab ("BIL") Design Technologists you will split your time between execution and strategy.
You will contribute to the definition of new ad products, pre-sales prototypes, and custom campaign executions, all while working directly with Art, Copy, Interactive Experience Designers, Product Managers, Producers and Account teams.
As a Design Technologist ("DT") you will lead the research, prototyping, and development of large, first-to-market campaigns that set new standards for design and technical excellence.
This role requires a blend of tactical expertise and strategic influence to amplify your impact across global teams and projects.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping how brands are perceived and interacted with on Amazon's many surfaces at a global scale.
Applicants should have a comprehensive understanding of the current state – and future – of web technology with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design.
You have strong communication skills and are comfortable with a range of technologies: React/JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, XML/JSON, Adobe Creative Suite, WCAG AA/accessibility standards, GenAI/LLMs, and have experience with Figma and AWS.
You are customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, comfortable working on highly technical teams, and are skilled in collaboration with non-technical creative counterparts.
You are a leader in the never-ending process of improving your own and your team's standards, writing documentation, and are able to handle multiple projects in a high-velocity environment with a high-level of autonomy.
You can translate business requirements into bar-raising customer experiences by thinking first from a customer's perspective and setting relentlessly high standards to achieve them.
You are equally passionate about design and development.
You have strong front-end proficiency, are a creative problem solver at the core and have a keen eye for world class functional design.
You will bring disruptive ideas for how to concept, create, and deliver branded shopping experiences for millions of customers worldwide and work across desktop, mobile, Fire tablet, Fire TV, Alexa, Twitch, Amazon Live and other Amazon properties.
