Design Services Analyst - Hydraulic EngineerWebuild is the new name of the Salini Impregilo Group, the global construction player specialized in building large works and complex infrastructure for sustainable mobility, hydroelectric energy, water, green buildings, and the tunnelling sectors.As Hydraulic Engineer, you will participate in the preparation of bids and will provide support to our projects, from the company headquarters in Milan and through short/medium assignments on-site.Your activities will include:Reviewing design reports and drawings for our "Design Build" hydraulic projects.Analyzing hydraulic data and models and identifying possible improvements/optimizations.Proposing and assessing potential innovative design/construction alternatives.Participation in field visits and data collection for hydraulic projects.Liaising with Client's Engineer and project's design team in technical discussions.Writing reports and preparing presentations.The ideal candidate should have:A Master in Hydraulic Engineering or Civil Engineering.2 to 3 years of professional experience in hydraulic engineering design and analysis, particularly in:Utilizing hydraulic modelling software and conducting steady and transient analysis.Dimensioning and design of dams, tunnels, steel lining, canals, pipelines, and other hydraulic structures.Conducting field investigations and providing effective solutions for hydraulic issues.Reviewing hydraulic projects (reports and drawings) from conception to completion.Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their applications in various industries.Previous field experience in Hydropower or Dam Projects will be considered a plus.Other:Fluent in spoken and written English.Willingness to take business trips and longer stays abroad.Ability to adapt to different working conditions.Teamworking and communication skills.Problem-solving skills.Webuild is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
