Job Description Deputy Country Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Sales Managing Director will be responsible for the following tasks:
Responsibility of a team of 10 HC with 3 direct reports;Close support and coaching to all Sales Agents with a client-facing attitude;Strategic view on market coverage, budgeting, and KPI setting for all departments;Full P&L ownership;Participation in Board meetings with a proactive and growing mindset;Identification of new business opportunities and internal sharing of new business streams;Foster cross-business collaboration by introducing possible deals to other BUs;Maintain a Team culture spirit where overall results are more important than individual ones.The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate has preferably an Engineering Degree combined with an extraordinary career progression in International organisations and 10+ years of Sales experience of components or complex solutions.
A solid understanding of the Italian Industrial Market, with direct contacts with OEM, End Users, Purchasing or Technical Directors, for both Multinational and SME, is key to success.
A genuine people-oriented approach, both for internal and external stakeholders, is a key requirement mixed with a performance-driven mindset and strong analytical skills.
The new manager needs to be capable of gaining on the field trust from the sales team and peers, having an engaging approach, empowering the existing talents, and attracting new ones.
Given the international remit of the scope, all candidates must be open to international relocation IF requested.
Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory.
