Position Objective: Analyzing sales and inventory data and planning the supply of goods in different locations and regions.Duties & Responsibilities: Analyzing location-wise, area-wise, product-wise sales reports to drive sales patterns.Planning the supply of goods based on sales patterns of different products and availability of stock to avoid shortages or overstocking.Planning the supply of goods in interior locations as per transit time to avoid shortages.Maintaining optimum inventory levels at all locations.Tracking inventory based on batch and expiry date (FEFO) to avoid loss due to expiry.Tracking store-wise slow-moving products and shifting them to other locations to avoid expiry or being dead stock, carrying out stock rotation of all slow-moving inventory.Classifying inventory and designing stock levels based on class/category.Devising and implementing a strategy for stock replenishment for the locations.Ensuring OTIF (On Time In Full) for all products and locations.Developing/improving stacking warehousing systems to ensure better stock movement and implementation of FEFO.Addressing supply/demand related issues effectively and efficiently.Supporting management with risk assessment and mitigation plans/actions.Developing multiple metrics to validate forecasting.Preparation of forecasts/orders at depot and shop level.Providing fresh insights/actionable points based on data for business growth.
