WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Valentino SpA is looking for an Intern who will be included in the Demand Planning Department, based in Milan, and will support the team in the following activities:
Develop accurate and timely forecast while helping reduce inventory /working capital, and minimize forecast variability
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop forecast data based on trends and demand patterns, develop ad hoc forecast models and evaluate forecast results
Monitor and react on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies
Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Contribute to the presentation of forecast and inventory estimations
Collect, organize, analyze and interpret numerical data
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of statistics is a plus.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel in particular)
Fluent both in English and Italian
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Precision and an analytical mindset, with attention to detail
Adaptability and availability to quickly respond to changes and work on urgent projects
