Important American multinational in the pharma sector is looking for a Demand Planning Analyst for its Italian headquarters in Rome.
Report directly to the S&OP Manager.
Job Role: Collaborate with commercial teams in order to review and build the sales forecast at brand/sku level including both baseline and uplift due to promo activities and media campaign.
Participate in analysis and support forecast and inventory planning processes to meet customer service targets.
Main Responsibilities: Optimize planning processes, tools, and relevant statistical data to increase forecast accuracy, manage forecast inputs, and analyze data to identify forecasting trends, gaps, track and measure customer demand requirements.Maximize account sales and inventory turns by forecasting consumer demand and developing optimal product assortments and replenishment inventory strategies.Assist with forecasts, plans and manage supply chain resources and demand processes.Products Phase In/Phase Out project management.Manage both local and corporate suppliers for the purchase orders of finished goods.Manage local reworking activities for promotional finished goods.Assist with direction and prioritization of the entire Supply Chain, considering supply chain constraints (Supplier, Equipment, Resources, Projects, Material Dating, and Quality Statuses).Assist with implementing strategic decisions to support Planned (Life Cycle projects, New Product introduction, and Validation) and Unplanned (production deviation) events.Document all assumptions behind the sales forecast and potential changes.Measure Supply & Demand KPI's like forecast accuracy, service level, and inventory.Involved in projects for the implementation of new IT Tools (e.g., SAP IBP, CRM, Forecasting and Planning Tools).Requirements: University Degree.Typically a minimum of 3 years work experience required.Fluent in English.Strong analytical skills.Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office usage.Experience with ERP.Teamwork.Strong pro-activity and performance orientation.
