Position Snapshot Nestlé in Italy, Milan HQ (Assago) Permanent contract Degree in management engineering or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Trade Marketing/Sales Proficiency in English and Italian Nestlé welcomes people with disabilities Position Summary Develop, maintain and improve a consolidated Demand Plan at SKU level and on daily basis for a portfolio of products, which represents the most realistic estimate of customer/channel demand, through projection of the most realistic demand estimate, managing exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the supply in fulfilling market demand. Ensure the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes. Identify and manage exceptions and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company's ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances. Active involvement in Monthly Business Process and supply chain practices in order to have finished goods available, at the right stock location with the freshness requested. A day in the life Active player in the monthly forecasting process for generation of forecast in a multichannel context, sharing data and critical info with Category Sales Manager and Trade Marketing. Capture and analyze commercial, marketing and sales input/events, analyze baselines, events, uplifts and interpret historical data and statistical forecast, to reflect into the 18-month rolling forecast. Identify and manage exceptions, monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company's ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances. Challenge numbers and constraints, by finding opportunities to be agile. Review historical sales trends, evaluating statistical forecast results. Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy and variability BIAS balance. In case of shortage of stock (short/long period), receive the input from Supply Planning, giving alert to sales and give Customer priority to allocate stock in accordance with Sales Manager. In case of possible waste, receive the input from Supply Planning and contact Sales to identify possible actions to avoid waste. Helpful to have had operations experience, in at least one of the following areas: Production, Demand & Supply planning, Trade Marketing, Sales. Good knowledge of Excel. SAP and Power BI knowledge is a plus. Initiative and Proactivity. Strong communication and relational skills - ability to manage people relations and share critical information.
