Demand Planner This position reports to E2E Supply Chain Senior Manager and is based in Pomezia – Santa Palomba.

What you will do The Demand Planner is responsible for the generation of the SKU-level operations forecast for a specific portfolio of brands, the Demand tactical portion of the S&OP process and for driving cross-functional alignment to the forecast each month. The LDP is responsible for maintaining the forecast in SAP and for managing the forecast in SAP from the aggregate parent code through to the material/DC split level.

Key Responsibilities Analyzes current and historical shipment trends, distribution changes, POS data, and trade inventory levels in order to appropriately develop a SKU-level forecast in SAP. Responsible for reflecting market intelligence into the forecast (such as brand strategy, pipeline goal, consumer campaigns). Utilizes statistical forecast modeling to develop forecast baselines and uses the statistical model as the primarily forecast driver where appropriate. –N/A for EMEA –(Foresight). Responsible for facilitating the local S&OP process. Outcome of this process is to align on one operational SKU-level forecast across functions. Understands and highlights key change items that are driving gap vs. the Latest Estimate Business Plan/Financial Targets. Makes recommendations to close gap as appropriate. Partners with Display Project Planners to plan for display activity, adding in both placeholder/dependent demand requirements and decrementing base demand accordingly due to open stock cannibalization estimates. Responsible for ensuring forecast is splitting appropriately across weekly buckets/locations via proportional factors in SAP. Proactively communicates pertinent demand information to supply planners, particularly items that require supply plan changes within lead-time. Support of new product forecasting process in cooperation with local commercial teams. Monitors actual monthly sales and adjust demand models as appropriate. Reporting some or all of the following Metrics: MAPE, BIAS, OTIF, Demand Completeness. What we are looking for Required Qualifications Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of data are required. MS Office knowledge at a relevant level (focus on Excel). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to execute communications at all levels of the organization. Degree in Economics or Management Engineering.
