As a key role, you will co-create strategies to manage product life-cycles, guarantee business continuity, safeguarding customer experience and satisfaction.
You will also be instrumental in developing and executing demand and supply planning strategies, ensuring that these are adaptable to changes in demand patterns and supply chain dynamics.This role is essential in managing risks, optimising cash flow, and emphasising sustainability, efficiency, and customer centricity, all while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild accurate sales forecasts, utilising advanced forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future sales and inventory needs;Actively contribute to the execution of the Sales Operations Planning (SOP) processes, driving improved forecasting and managing the product portfolio:Work closely with local, regional and global key stakeholders, suppliers and partners to ensure the seamless execution of planning processes, including superior management of product availability shortage occurrences;Track and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising overstocking;Evaluate market dynamics and trends and provide insightful reports to the organisation, enabling data-driven decisions that prioritise customer needs;Identify opportunities for process enhancements and support the implementation of best practices, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, local, regional and global projects and training programs with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction;Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements as well as all planning activities are adherent to guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of planning processes and inventory records;Address and facilitate the resolution of issues that arise in planning and production, escalating complex problems when necessary, always with the customer experience in mind;Engage with stakeholders to enhance our supply offering and planning consultancy, while ensuring the best value and service for our customers, is a key responsibility;Embracing technology and digitalization is essential.
You will leverage planning software and tools to enhance efficiency and support initiatives to increase digitalization and automation adoption, ultimately improving the customer experience.Who you areUniversity Degree in a subject such as logistics, supply chain management, business studies.
Master or MBA is highly desirable;Experience in demand planning and supply chain methodologies;Excellent oral/written communication in both Italian and English;Advanced supply chain management, including strategic demand and supply planning and aligning strategies with corporate objectives;Expert in inventory optimization using cutting-edge algorithms, AI, and Just-In-Time (JIT) practices;Proficiency in regulatory requirements and leading compliance initiatives and audits;Advanced in data analysis and machine learning proficiency for developing custom dashboards and predictive analytics;Champion in dealing advanced statistical models, big data analytics, and AI for accurate demand forecasting and market trend prediction;Strong experience in indirect leadership;Strong presentation skills, with ability to influence and negotiate, as well as problem solving skills and experience working cross-functionally and communicating cross-culturally;Proven attitude in working under tight deadlines, in activity prioritisation and process improvement.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
