Overview : Work with governments and impact organizations, engaging senior leaders in the public sector to address their most complex challenges to improve health outcomes for citizens. Your role involves project implementation, building capacity ties for delivering priority initiatives, and contributing to data system strengthening. Job Description As a Delivery Leader in a country project in public health, you will support the delivery of priorities to foster sexual and reproductive health, working jointly with government entities and other partners on the ground to plan for delivery, monitor progress, and address implementation challenges. This is a contractor role, being offered as a 1-year fixed-term engagement. There may be an opportunity for the engagement to be extended depending on performance and business need. As a Delivery Leader, you'll work with senior government officials to support better delivery of public services for the good of their citizens and residents. We are looking for someone to support our teams as we grow our work across Africa, bringing a sharp and data-informed analytical problem-solving skill set to support our clients. This may include working with clients to use data to formulate and test recommendations to improve senior-level decision-making, facilitate problem-solving and collaboration through action-oriented routines, design and delivery of stakeholder workshops, and/or engaging with frontline services providers and end users to inform policy and program implementation. Key Responsibilities Drive and support partner organizations in implementing reforms to build the capacity of the ministry of health, offering guidance and coaching to the client's team for achieving tangible results. Engage directly with local governments and partners, facilitating relationship-building, problem-solving, collaboration, and knowledge management with partners. Lead data collection and analytical processes to develop robust recommendations for client presentations. Implement prioritized reforms, working closely with client team members. Plan and execute stakeholder workshops, ensuring the smooth flow of routine meetings. Contribute to the development of client reports and communication materials. Build capacity for delivery across sectors through training, coaching, and feedback. Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree or above, Master's in public health is preferable. Otherwise, equivalent requisite working experience will also be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience with top consulting firms, governments, or international organizations. Must have business-level proficiency in English (spoken and written). Prior experience in a client-facing role in public sector contexts. Proficiency in project implementation or direct experience in delivering results.
