The Deal advisory team brings its multi-disciplinary know-how to every stage of the transaction.Our Deal Strategy team provides support in M&As, from the pre-deal evaluation to the post-deal integration or separation with focus on the definition and quantification of all value creation levers.
As a member of this team, you will work in close contact with lenders, shareholders and managers at all levels, helping to support clients in corporate finance transactions using digital tools and technology in your day-to-day work.Join our teams in Milan where you will gain experience supporting shareholders and management of client companies in solving complex business challenges, from the definition of strategy to the execution of value creation initiatives, with focus on the Pre-Deal Business/Operational Due Diligence, Business Planning and Post-Deal Integration phases.Specifically, you will be working on: • Business & Strategic Planning: You'll work alongside C-level executives to assess the business in a short time framework and define/ quantify improvement actions to present to investors and stakeholders; • Business & Commercial Due Diligence: You'll analyze business dynamics, market, and competition for potential targets, working with private equity funds and other buyers; • Synergy assessment and execution: You will analyze all potential synergies both in a pre and post deal phase, supporting end to end the client from the quantification phase to the implementation/ tracking of the identified synergies; • Integration & Separation Management Office: You will define and drive Day 1 Readiness plan, D100 Integration plan, definition of Target Operating Model, etc.The ideal candidate must have: • At least 4 years of experience from either a strategy consulting firm or the strategy or business development ; function of an industrial, consumer or retail company with activity focus on revenue growth initiatives definition and management• A master's degree in business subjects and, preferably, additional post-graduate courses in data science, business analytics and digital innovation; • A keen interest in pre and post M&A deal activities; • An analytical approach and ability to interpret data and KPIs; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian & English; • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; • Knowledge of data and analytics tools (e.g., Power, BI and Qlik) is preferred; • Flexible to travel for work in Italy and abroad.You are a problem solver and never lose sight of your goals.
