De Mechanical Designer

As part of the Detailed Engineering department collaborate with the team to design our fold and napkin machineryWork on the execution of projects starting from the initial stages up to the final testing, interfacing with all the stakeholders involved in the processPrepare and review mechanical drawings and models, manage equipment calculation, tolerance studies, kinematic simulations, sizing etc.Create and manage bill of materialsSupport the testing of prototypes and pre-series machinesProvide technical assistance for clients' issues and requestsLead machine construction projects from handover to customer delivery by managing the entire job (punch list analysis, job monitoring with the testing team, interface with PM for customer requests, support and assist customers during visits or progress meetings)To succeed in this role you should have:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similarPrevious experience in mechanical design in industrial machinery sector or related field is highly evaluatedKnowledge of CAD programs (2D and 3D), preferably Solidworks and SolidedgeProficiency in Ms OfficeKnowledge of SAP is appreciatedItalian knowledge is mandatoryFluency in written and spoken EnglishAttitude towards project leadership is highly evaluatedTeam workingAttention to detailStrong analytical and problem solving skillsFlexibility and proactivity We offer:Work in a global organization with international customers and colleagues, dynamic and modern work environmentOnboarding planInternal canteen free of chargeWelfare systemYearly training programIf you are interested in becoming part of the Valmet team in Porcari, please send your application as soon as possible but the latest by November 15, 2024 - we are eagerly waiting for your application!
