Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Services Business Development Manager to join our central HPE team, covering the EMEA region.
The role will focus on driving growth in HPE's storage solutions portfolio across the region.
This position will be responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, working closely with sales teams and partners, and ensuring targets are met in alignment with the business goals.Key Responsibilities:Business Development Strategy:Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive business growth and market share for HPE storage solutions across the EMEA region.Partner Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with HPE sales teams, Ingram Micro country leads, partners, and other stakeholders to align business priorities, promote storage solutions, and drive collaboration.Market Analysis Expansion:Identify new business opportunities and partners within the region, focusing on Net New Logos, and work on expanding relationships with existing customers through repeatable strategies.Sales Enablement:Provide sales teams with the tools, resources, and support necessary to position HPE storage solutions effectively, including training, certifications, and product knowledge.Target Achievement:Ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded by coordinating regional activities, supporting sales pipelines, and ensuring strong execution across the region.Solution Evangelism:Promote HPE Data Services and other storage solutions through events, campaigns, webinars, and partner programs.
Serve as the product expert and advocate in the region.Reporting Performance Tracking:Track and analyze performance data, generating reports and insights to inform strategies and improve sales performance.
Collaborate with central and country-level teams to review progress regularly.Qualifications Experience:Proven experience in storage business development, sales, or channel management, ideally within the technology industry, with a focus on HPE or similar solutions (GreenLake, Alletra, MSA).Strong understanding of the EMEA market and proven ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.Technical knowledge of HPE storage solutions, SaaS offerings, hybrid cloud solutions, and data services.Excellent communication and negotiation skills – able to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive execution within a large, complex organization.Leadership qualities – able to work independently and lead initiatives within a cross-functional team.Languages: Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are an advantage.Preferred Skills:Experience with HPE GreenLake and other aaS (as-a-service) models.Familiarity with competitive storage solutions and market positioning.Experience with partner enablement and channel strategies.Certification in HPE Hybrid by Design or other relevant HPE certifications is a plus.What We Offer:A chance to be a part of a dynamic, global company with exposure to cutting-edge storage and hybrid cloud technologies.Opportunity to influence and drive significant growth across the EMEA region.A collaborative and inclusive working environment with support from regional and global teams.
