Description The Role DATA SCIENTIST SENIOR ANALYST The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving. He/she should also have a strong sense of ownership and have experience in working with multiple stakeholders. In addition, he/she should have a proven track record of providing outstanding support for complex software solutions. In this role you will join our Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) team during a period of transformative change. Your primary focus will be on enhancing client and business value delivery. With your advanced problem-solving and support skills, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving various complex technical issues for our wide range of international clients. Moreover, you will actively collaborate with teams to document and improve existing procedures and tools, thus elevating overall client's satisfaction levels. Depending on your level of experience, you will join our team in Rome or Milan as a Senior Analyst or Consultant. You will be involved in client project to provide high-quality complex actuarial and technical support, both internally and to other colleagues. You will work closely with consultants and project managers in Italy and the EMEA region. Consultants and project managers will help you expand your insurance knowledge and sharpen your actuarial skills, providing exposure to clients. You will develop models or solutions using WTW's market leading actuarial software and techniques to deliver customized solutions for our clients. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our pricing and reserving consultants on Intellectual Property development projects, as well as the data scientist team and within the entire proposition on these topics. Qualifications The Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering and Actuarial Science or any other related quantitative fields. Well-developed verbal, written and spoken skills in English and essential fluent Italian Non-life insurance background, at least 3 years of experience in Insurance company/Consultancy Firms Programming Languages such as SAS, SQL, VBA, Python, R and Powershell Knowledge of WTW software solutions is a plus Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Access and PowerBI Curious about new technologies and committed to continually increase technical knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, especially in presentation and report writing. Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently. Self-driven achiever, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Availability to travel to our Italian offices or client site on an as needed basis.
