We are in search of a Data Scientist with a focus on battery technology. The
atomistic modelling and instead emphasizing predictive modelling that complements experimental
work.
**Responsibilities**:
Battery:
- Develop and implement predictive models for battery systems, encompassing thermal
behaviour, electrochemical processes, and overall performance.
- Computational Analysis: Utilize computational tools to analyse large datasets, predict trends
in battery performance, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, process engineering, and quality
control to integrate computational models seamlessly into the experimental workflow.
Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization through computational modelling,
contributing to enhanced battery efficiency, longevity, and overall performance.
Validation:
- Collaborate with experimental teams to validate and refine computational models based on
real-world data, ensuring alignment with actual manufacturing processes.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, methodologies, and
findings, ensuring knowledge transfer and effective communication within the organization.
Qualifications:
**Education**:
- Masters or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computational Science, or a related field with a
focus on battery technology.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in predictive modelling, computational analysis, and data-driven decision making
within the battery manufacturing or related industry.
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in computational tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, etc.).
- Familiarity with battery modelling software and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with
multidisciplinary teams.
