As a Data Scientist you will apply computational and statistical methods to sample, analyze and interpret data, design and implement machine learning models and create end-to-end data products. From conception to deployment, your work will help us address and solve essential, technically challenging game business problems. In this role, you will interact and work across multi-disciplinary teams, such as game design, art, engineering and marketing.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and define key challenges and opportunities in our games and data products;Identify and define KPIs and metrics to track the success of different data products;Translate informal requirements to formal specification (using mathematical, computational language);Given a problem definition, search for an appropriate solution, considering the complexity, resource, priority and available time;Sample and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful conclusions and actionable insights;Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to develop and deploy high value data products aligned with our company strategy;Communicate solutions effectively and educate team members on computational and statistical methods to foster a data-driven culture;Research, experiment, design and prototype new technologies to create proof-of-concepts, and implement these technologies gracefully.Requirements3+ years of experience working as a data scientist, data analyst, or equivalent experience;Advanced knowledge of scientific methods, probability, statistics, and statistical methods;Fundamental knowledge of machine learning methods;Proficiency in programming with Python and SQL, experience with version control (Git);Proficiency with scientific computing tools and libraries, such as jupyter notebook, numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn;Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS);Clear and effective communication skills, both written and spoken, especially for non-technical audiences;Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team;Proactive drive to improve our games and your personal knowledge and skills;Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment;Curiosity, determination and a delight in learning new knowledge and skills to solve problems and overcome limits;Intellectual honesty to know your own limitations and unknowns;Excellent team player.Nice-to-haveKnowledge of game development, game design, game programming, especially video games;Knowledge of software engineering, complex systems;Proficiency in statically typed programming languages, such as C, C++, C#, Java, Scala, etc;Experience with machine learning system deployment at scale in a production environment.What we offerCompetitive remunerationFlexible benefitsHealth and Dental InsuranceProfit SharingCareer development supportCasual environment as well as the dress codeA space for resting moments, full of snacks, fruits, and drinks.About FanateeFanatee is a mobile gaming startup founded in 2013.
