Who You Are: As a data scientist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing end-to-end (from prototype to deploy) and maintaining Data Science projects to address specific business needs. You will cooperate with data scientists, data engineers, and other technical or business-oriented figures in an international and respectful environment.
What You'll Do: Finding the optimal Data Science approach to address business needs.Exploring data to identify the most appropriate features, ML models, and DS methods.Data Mining using state-of-the-art methods.Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of the data used for the analysis.Training, validating and optimizing ML models.Writing efficient and clear code.Deploying in production (MLOps) and maintaining the code.Producing clear documentation about the logic and the main technical choices.Defining output and suggesting plots and visualizations to make the results accessible and understandable for non-technical colleagues.What it Takes: MSc or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related fields.Knowledge of Machine Learning methods and techniques.Previous experience as a data scientist (1+ years).Deep knowledge of a programming language (ideally Python).Knowledge of SQL, Git, environment management.Experience with AWS (SageMaker).Ownership: feeling your projects belong to you, taking necessary actions to make them work.Ability to work on several projects, managing priorities.Problem solving skills, desire to explore and invent solutions for complex problems, simplifying them when possible.Good communication skills: ability to pose questions with clarity and explain your reasoning concisely.Fluency in English.Knowledge of Snowflake, Cloudera, Poetry, SageMaker pipelines, and AWS Model Registry is a plus.Where you'll be: Turin, Italy.
