Posizione: Artemest is looking for a clear thinking, organized and enthusiastic self-starter to work as the first data scientist in the team.
The candidate will be responsible for discovering insights and identifying opportunities through statistical, machine learning, algorithmic, data mining and visualization techniques.
The candidate will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and engineering, working with different tools, data sources and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions and present the insights in concise and effective manner.
The successful candidate is a precise, data driven person, with a superior level of attention to details, who communicates clearly and concisely.
Main duties and responsibilities: Draw inferences and conclusions from datasets to communicate meaningful insights that can help the team take the right decisions.
Create dashboards and visualizations of processed data.
Identify trends and anomalies.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as business teams, engineering teams, and partner teams.
Requisiti: Desired Skills and Experience: Master's Degree in any quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or Computer Science.
2+ years of experience working in Analytics / Business Intelligence environment.
2+ years professional experience in modeling and statistical analysis of large data sets.
Proven experience in working with databases and SQL in a business environment.
Demonstrated use of analytical packages and query languages such as SPSS, R, SQL.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
Excellent written and spoken English and Italian.
