Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain includes avionics, navigation, and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies, and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group's Competence center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
In this role, the primary focus of the Service tooling developer is to help the Service Team to restructure historical and current data covering Navigation Aid & Non-radar Surveillance equipment.
The core topics are installation, maintenance, operation, networking, software use, and obsolescence topic.
As part of the Services Team, your main tasks will be to:
Reconstruct consistency of data of Service department databaseCross divisional collaboration, to ensure the handiness of the service tooling and related datasetDevelop effective management dashboards to concisely explain complex data and present resultsProvide regular daily and monthly reports and dashboards to the reporting teamCollaborate with global and local team to perform data analysis and process optimizationCollaborate regularly with various teams to monitor the accuracy of their reports and their resultsStreamline available reporting and data integrationThe guarantee in the database is segmented to be effective for the attractiveness of the marketing targetSharing best practices and simplifying the flow of data introduced into the internal procedureRequirements: Positive, outgoing, high-energy personality, able to thrive within a high-paced environment and being multi-taskingAbility to speak additional languages such as French or German is a benefitPrevious experience is appreciatedAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office, Excel (Pivot, macro VBA, etc.), Access, PowerBIKnowledge of Python, R, SQL, and tool of data visualization (e.g. Tableau)English fluency is requiredObjectives of the internship: Introduction to work environmentAcknowledgement regarding structured organization processesBasis about NRS and Navaids productsPossibility to be part of a global organizationImprovement in SW specific skillsAcknowledgement regarding services related topicAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
