Reporting to the Chief Internal Audit Officer, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Senior Audit Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving a strategic shift and transformation for the Internal Audit organization.
The successful candidate will spearhead the implementation of data analytics, data mining, artificial intelligence-based solutions, ultimately driving the implementation of continuous auditing procedures in the execution of future audit plans. This will not only boost the team's efficiency and effectiveness, but also establish an enhanced control framework that can be seamlessly transitioned to the operations team.
Core Responsibilities: Strategic Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence-based Solutions and Automation: Forward-thinking leader, the ideal candidate will be able to lead transformative initiatives and implement disruptive solutions that push the boundaries of technology, driving significant impact across our organization. Develop predictive models, automated testing, data analytics tools, data mining, and artificial intelligence-based solutions. Champion the use of advanced analytics and automation methods across all audit portfolios, influencing operations to adopt such solutions to deploy continuous monitoring activities. Risk-based approach, assess business processes, to identify key process and risk indicators capable to highlight process issues or suboptimal control frameworks and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights. Analyze complex data, identify anomalies, and provide usable insights to internal and external stakeholders. Detect patterns for data analysis to identify financial, operational, compliance, or IT issues. Address audit team hypothesis and business challenges. Executive Leadership and Communication: Interact proactively with senior leaders (including board members) across different functions and regions, articulating the audit strategy, and providing regular updates on progress milestones. Advocate for the Internal Audit organization's strategy, ensuring alignment across all levels. Foster a positive work environment and serve as an effective role model. Skills and Competencies: Education: Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline. Experience: The position targets candidates with a minimum of 12-15 years of combined experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Operational and Risk/Audit roles within global, complex organizations. This should include at least 2-3 years in leadership positions. We highly regard potential and a growth mindset. Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes, internal control, and corporate governance. Process Design: Strong background and proven experience in process design and deployment, with focus on strategic processes at global level. Attention to Detail: Ability to identify patterns, flag incongruencies, and apply critical thinking. Technical Expertise: Deep experience in IT, Data Analytics, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence Solutions. SAP Systems: Strong knowledge of SAP systems. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Influence and Relationship Building: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. CIA, CISA certifications are beneficial. Language: Fluent in English and Italian.
