We are now searching for a new employee for one of our Business Areas, Arribatec Marine which specializes in the digitalization of the maritime sector. For 40 years we have been dedicated to the design, development, and implementation of fleet management systems worldwide. We are passionate about maximizing our customers' returns, providing increased control over their marine operations, and creating competitive advantages through our self-developed software Infoship.
About the role
We are looking for a consultant with both analytical and technical skills to join our Product Development team in an international environment. In the position as a consultant, your most important role is to help our customers solve complex challenges by translating complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Design and implement data models and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
Provide technical guidance and support to end-users.
Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends and technologies.
Who are you?
You have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to design, develop, and implement advanced Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. You enjoy solving complex challenges and are triggered by working at the intersection between customer, subject, and system. To succeed in the position, you are detail-oriented and capable of driving business performance through data-driven decision-making.
Service mindedness, drive, and engagement are big pluses in this role. You are a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users. You are curious, open to new knowledge, and share your experience and expertise with your colleagues.
Qualifications
Certificate of apprenticeship within data analytics or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with PowerBI and Qlik Sense.
Proven SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience with data visualization best practices.
Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo) is an advantage.
