Danieli Automation - Deep Learning Process Scientist

Danieli Automation, part of the Danieli Group, provides process automation and control systems for the metals industry, covering the wide spectrum of Danieli technology.
Software algorithm models and production control systems are developed in house and are the means to transfer Danieli process know-how to final users.
We are looking for a Deep Learning Process Scientist to work in the development of algorithms that can tackle these tasks working side-by-side with the Process Specialist of the Company.
The Process Scientist must spend time to learn basic knowledge from the Process Specialist to be able to select and design a proper AI architecture to solve the task.
Therefore, an "open mind" attitude is required to be involved into topics apparently non strictly related to AI technologies.
**Job Title**: Deep Learning Process Scientist
**Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop and test algorithms on multidisciplinary use cases
- Develop production-ready code to deploy the algorithms using Company frameworks
- Monitor the performance of deployed algorithms, prepare evaluation reports and communicate the results to final users
- Keep up to-date regarding the latest models (e.g.
LSTM, Reservoir Computing, CNN) and HW technologies
**Experience and Qualifications**
- Master degree required.
Preferred areas: Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
**Skills and Attitudes**
- Excellent knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with Deep Learning architectures that manages time series data
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of C++, C#
- Knowledge of HW design to meet computational requirements
- Organization and coordination skills
- Versatility, willingness and results orientation
- Good fluency in written and spoken English
