Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Process client footage according to the specifications provided by dailies producer Apply onset color or make manual color adjustments as required QC both processed dailies and OCN to identify issues in camera original and rendered media Ensure timeliness and technical accuracy of every client delivery Communicate with dailies producers and dailies pipeline manager on a daily basis throughout the duration of a project to ensure client satisfaction is met Abide by strict security for client's intellectual property Shift work schedule, where necessary, and be open to nights, weekends, and travel work Track and report bugs or crashes in software/hardware Work both remotely and on premises Other duties, as required and assigned
Qualifications
Required qualifications and background:
Strong attention to detail, especially visually 2+ years of color experience Effective communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment Clear understanding of video standards, transcoding software, framerates, resolutions, and aspect ratios Experience working with media from the latest digital cinema cameras (RED, Alexa, Venice, VariCam etc.) Established understanding of color correction and its function in dailies (credit list outlining previously worked projects is a plus) Experience working with the latest color grade platforms, such as Resolve, OSD, EXD, Baselight, Daylight Basic computer networking knowledge is a plus Mac and Linux OS proficient Microsoft Office suite fluent Knowledge in Filmlight Daylight, Colorfront, Davinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
