Dailies Colorist - Harbor Pictures / NYC DAILIES COLORIST Harbor Pictures / NYCResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Process client footage according to the specifications provided by dailies producerApply onset color or make manual color adjustments as requiredQC both processed dailies and OCN to identify issues in camera original and rendered mediaEnsure timeliness and technical accuracy of every client deliveryCommunicate with dailies producers and dailies pipeline manager on a daily basis throughout the duration of a project to ensure client satisfaction is metAbide by strict security for client's intellectual propertyShift work schedule, where necessary, and be open to nights, weekends, and travel workTrack and report bugs or crashes in software/hardwareWork both remotely and on premisesOther duties, as required and assignedQualificationsRequired qualifications and background:Strong attention to detail, especially visually2+ years of color experienceEffective communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to work in a team-oriented environmentClear understanding of video standards, transcoding software, framerates, resolutions, and aspect ratiosExperience working with media from the latest digital cinema cameras (RED, Alexa, Venice, VariCam etc.
