**Duties**:
- Responsible for the operation of the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Technology Lab in accordance with applicable regulations.
Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities for program participants.
- Creates a positive environment in CYS Technology Lab that includes appropriate materials and supplies to supplement computer software programs and Internet access.
Provides supervision, oversight, and accountability for program participants.
- Ensures computer, peripherals, and software are maintained in good condition and working order.
Troubleshoots CYS hardware, printers, scanners, servers and software.
- Interacts with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques.
Promotes and role models safety, fitness, health and nutrition practices.
- Trains children/youth in use of equipment and software programs.
Ensures assigned area achieves and maintains standards for DoD/Army certification and national accreditation or Army equivalent.

- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of appointment or placement into the position.

- Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations in accordance with current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
- A one year probationary period may be required (either initially or upon conversion, if applicable).
- Successful completion of annual training requirements within the prescribed time frame and demonstrated on the job competence is required.
- Complete and signed DA 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
- Position requires working with computers, peripherals, software and common hand and electrical tools.

**Qualifications**:
- 1.
Be able to communicate in English (verbal and written)
- 2.
Be 18 years of age at time of employment.
- 3.
Possess and maintain ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, stoop, and stand on a routine basis.
- 4.
Possess and maintain health and freedom from communicable disease.- 6.
Possess a professional certificate or higher related to computer science/information
- technology, or 24 months of experience working in the related field.
