Role Purpose
Support effectively Vodafone business in engineering and designing complex and innovative cyber security projects and solutions thanks to a strong technical background, vision, and market knowledge
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Engineering, designing, and customizing cyber security solutions & platforms, integrated with Vodafone network and infrastructures
• Technical scouting, RFx management, on-boarding activity included documentation (HLD/LLD/Spec) and testing
• Active collaboration with Technology departments, Vodafone Business and vendors during presale phase (i.e. public and private tenders) and productization
• Solutions integration in Vodafone ecosystem (tools, processes, and cyber security guidelines)
• Guaranteeing a well-documented and smooth hand-over to operation and assurance teams
• Collaboration with Project Management and SOC teams in delivery and in-life phases guaranteeing a continuous and high-quality support.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience
• Strong competence and experience on unified threat management appliances (focus on Fortinet)
• Good knowledge (experience is preferential) about DDoS mitigation, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, SASE, Identity Management, VPN and Web Application Firewall platforms and network CPE solutions.
• Good competence and experience in architectural network design with focus on security elements
• Passionate about technology, innovation, and cyber security
Preferred technical /professional qualifications
• Fortinet certifications (at least NSE level 4)
• CISSP
• CISM
• CompTIA Security+
• Other Security vendor-specific certifications are preferential (i.e. CCNP/JNCIS/CCSE)
