Key Responsibilities and ActivitiesManage the opening and renewal of the Customs Authorities.Manage and maintain AEO authorization and follow up on related audits and reviews by the Customs Agency.Manage and monitor the proper operation of import and export operations of finished goods.Manage and monitor the proper operations carried out by operators in bonded warehouses.Manage the Special Rules and bank guarantees in collaboration with Treasury.Manage the "Classification of Goods" and deal with the request/predisposition of the Certificates of Origin.Care about the relative affiliations of the inspections carried out by customs officials in the production units and at the headquarters.Carry out training activities with colleagues of the headquarters and the plants in relation to the regulations in force.Maintain contacts with external offices such as Customs, Ministries, Associations.Coordinate Customs Specialists by providing them all necessary support for training and professional growth.Key RelationshipsInternal: Group Tax Director, Group Tax & Transfer Pricing Coordinator, Tax Manager, Plant Director, Plant Excise & Customs Coordinator, Excise specialist, Logistics Manager.
External: Customs offices.
Experience RequiredExperience in consumer goods industries is a must, preferably within the spirits category. Experience in managing teams with functional reporting lines.
Education / Professional QualificationsFunctional SkillsCustoms management and knowledge of customs law.Knowledge of business processes and risks concerning the handling of finished products and raw materials subject to customs.Behavioral CharacteristicsDemonstrate Campari values through words and actions.Understanding business priorities.Strong desire to provide a high level of service to stakeholders.Collaborative leadership skills and ability to influence.Adaptive/flexible, but firm when necessary.Ability to work with different teams.Ability to analyze data from different sources and to coordinate them for business purposes.Strong English skills.Proactive and able to make autonomous decisions within the area of responsibility.Ability to facilitate workshops and training sessions.Ability to handle complex issues and related discussions.OthersPassion for customs area, laws, and regulations.
