Key Responsibilities and ActivitiesManage the opening and renewal of the Customs Authorities.Manage and maintain AEO authorization and follow up on related audits and reviews by the Customs Agency.Manage and monitor the proper operation of import and export operations of finished goods.Manage and monitor the proper operations carried out by operators in bonded warehouses.Manage the Special Rules and bank guarantees in collaboration with Treasury.Manage the "Classification of Goods" and deal with the request/predisposition of the Certificates of Origin.Care about the relative affiliations of the inspections carried out by customs officials in the production units and at the headquarters.Carry out training activities with colleagues of the headquarters and the plants in relation to the regulations in force.Maintain contacts with external offices such as Customs, Ministries, Associations.Coordinate Customs Specialists by providing them all necessary support for training and professional growth.Key RelationshipsInternal: Group Tax Director, Group Tax & Transfer Pricing Coordinator, Tax Manager, Plant Director, Plant Excise & Customs Coordinator, Excise specialist, Logistics Manager.
External: Customs offices.
Experience RequiredExperience in consumer goods industries is a must, preferably within the spirits category. Experience in managing teams with functional reporting lines.
