We are currently seeking a Customer Engineer AC Power to join our dynamic team in Milan, Italy!
What will be your role in your team?
As a Customer Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for Vertiv UPS, battery, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.
You will establish and maintain excellent rapport with customers and ensure continuous communication with Call Control and your Manager/Supervisor.
What specific responsibilities will you have within your team?
Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
Perform all work using good working practices and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned tasks.
Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures.
Assist in maintaining a planned maintenance completion rate of at least 90%.
Coordinate with call control to schedule, plan, and complete work using established workflow procedures.
Keep call control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with the site change form.
Work collaboratively within the service team.
Follow up and follow through on all assigned tasks.
Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly, ensuring thorough debriefing in Wireless Field Service.
Be available to work during weekends and nights.
What are the keys to your success?
HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent; Experience in a technical service or test environment of AC Power equipment - essential; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Previous field service experience essential; Excellent customer service and communication skills; Self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively under pressure; Clean valid driving license.
