Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow. We are seeking a Customer Contact & Shipping Coordinator eager to join our team in Varisco Product Company, Atlas Copco Padova.
As Customer Contact & Shipping Coordinator, you'll be part of the Logistics Outbound team with the responsibility of interfacing externally with our customers and internally with the whole organization for the preparation and shipment of customer orders, which is a very important part of our total Operations.
Varisco Product Company is a well-established and ever-expanding company. It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016 Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it.
In this role you will have the opportunity to: Handle orders from our customers for competence areas, to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction; Inform our customers regarding potential orders (stock availability, lead times, …) and handle their requests in case of need; Follow up with Call Off for the delivery date of purchase orders for shipment; Align with Line Leader and Production team regarding production orders and organize shipments, ensuring a constant flow of information to the customer; Prepare all needed shipping documents including certificates, test reports, as per the sales agreement with the customer; Lead or be part of the implementation of improvement projects by contributing to tasks under your responsibility; Cooperate with Sales Managers, Credit Controller and Aftermarket to ensure shipments and payments. What we expect from our candidates: University Degree in engineering; Experience in logistics and customer handling; Knowledge of order handling and shipments; Driven and structured approach, organizing your activities with accuracy and punctuality; High organizational skills, problem-solving and team working attitude; Positive, proactive and responsible attitude, empathy and resilience; Respect of priorities and deadlines; Customer satisfaction orientation; Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP; Fluent in Italian and good command of English is essential (both spoken and written).
