JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for a candidate who would work in a dynamic environment.
In this position you will work on international Business and Customer Intelligence reporting and dashboarding projects.
In close collaboration with different departments (mainly Controlling, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain), you will collaborate with BI and IT for developing new dashboards and reports to accelerate comprehension of EssilorLuxottica business processes and trends.
You will collaborate on different project streams during the time.
Ability in working with different teams dedicated to specific business areas with several people is strongly recommended.
Working in BI means not only to generate reports but to understand and explain how training metrics, KPIs have to be built and read them to support business and leadership decisions.
We need to have someone that could be able to create BI tools and understand main training functional aspects to support Business in strategic decisions.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: Weekly reporting: being able to collect, analyze and put down the reporting package needed for the Weekly analysis of the Lenses/Frames segment Month-end reporting: coordinate with the different points of contact to ensure the submission of the month figures, work with the support team in identifying gaps or solving possible issues, validate figures for the official reporting both done internally in the Finance department but also from other departments (MBR deck from Marketing) Cross Reporting: being able to analyze the current reporting landscape adopted by Luxottica and Essilor to evaluate synergies and define an holistic view for the Lenses/Frames business Delivers standard reports through SQL code on a weekly and monthly basis, able to update existing code as business requirements change.
Develops and maintains knowledge base on the consumer, recommending and producing dashboards to allow the business to monitor customer base health as well as keep under control key trends.
Employs data and research insights/analysis on the customer database to understand customer types, behavioral segments and inter purchase intervals.

NETWORK OF INTERACTION: The candidate will work closely with our BI IT Department as well as with many others like Finance, E-Commerce, Wholesales, Retail and Market Strategy.
There will be a continuous relationship with the main controllers around the world.
INTERNAL : Retail Department / E-Commerce Department / Wholesales Department / IT / Marketing Department/ CRM TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE Educational Background in Math, Statistic, Physic, Engineering Strong problem-solving skills.
Basic Knowledge of data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL/programming language) Solid experience with Excel LANGUAGES: Italian English
