**MISSION**
Reporting to Sales Development Italy Manager of M&R BU, Customer Application Engineer, contributes to the development of local business (Italy) by analyzing the market needs and ensuring the identification of the best technical solutions to meet the customer needs, according to a framework of guidelines, processes and procedures set by HQ.
**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**
- Provides support to Sales in analyzing Customer requests during the pre-order phase and propose the most suitable products configuration according to technical needs and in line with group strategies
- Manage the whole life-cycle of the customized drive solutions trough the validation of technical and economics feasibility analysis, and products' technical documents (technical Drawings, Bills of Material, )
- Ensures proper accountability over pull project ("client-driven") management and execution of special products/solutions working closely with HQ in the elaboration of technical feasibility studies, contributing to the product development process.
- Provides support to Operations in defining processes and production methods to delivery products with specific technical requirements
- Ensures the analysis and the management of customer claims and brought non-conforming product and processes to the attention of Operation function for the action and the creation of best practices
- Resolution of technical problems directly on customer site
