Customer Application Engineer

CSA Customer Application Engineer for a client operating in the oil & gas industry based in Florence.
The Customer Application Engineer is a key role in the Commercial Service organization, responsible for defining, preparing, and managing the technical portion of the Long-Term Service Agreement proposals.
The job holder will work closely with the regional commercial team as a key partner in strategy development to create the most competitive and winning proposal.
Responsabilità Responsibilities: Analyze technical specifications from customers;Define and prepare the service Scope of Work;Ensure accurate cost control and manage technical risks;Estimate OPEX costs for existing and new technologies;Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to optimize proposals;Support negotiations with customers on technical aspects.Functie-eisen Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university;0-4 years of industry experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Application Engineer, or Project Manager;Fluent spoken and written English;Willingness to travel on short notice.Plus: Specific O&G market knowledge and experience;Good knowledge of rotating machinery, particularly Gas Turbines;GB/BB certified.A fixed-term contract of one year is offered to replace maternity leave (temporary agency worker).
