The role – what is it we would like you to do? Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Construction Manager in Porto Cervo, Sardinia.
Your core duties will involve: Support the project lead in managing the design and construction phases of the design and fit-out of multi-sited projectsLiaise with multiple stakeholders from the client and customer teams including property services, designers, contractors, FM and building management, and security consultants.Lead the coordination of the design of the customer fit-out against the client's design guides and constraints.Deliver projects, commissions, and professional assignmentsAssume a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team playerMaintain effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial controlAssist with commercial management servicesDeliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely mannerProvide support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projectsRepresent the company in a professional and diligent manner; meet, negotiate, and correspond with clients to form strong working relationshipsWhat skills and attributes are we looking for from you: Technical delivery experience gained within the construction industryGood technical writing, client-facing, and communication skillsWell-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astuteA team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexibleBSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying, or equivalentExperience in the education sector environment would be advantageousExperience of fit-out projectsRisk management qualifications or experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
