**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Provide professional, courteous, and prompt service for clients, answer questions about local traditions, customs, and culture during Newcomer's Orientation and Benvenuti Welcome Tours and refer clients to appropriate staff members when necessary.
- Provide professional, courteous and prompt service for delivering community-based support and update monthly community events and resource guides, i.e.; directions, local services, local transportation options, maps and local activities)
- Assist newcomers with basic language skills associated with life in Italy. Lead Benvenuti Welcome Tours, Cultural Adaptation activities, and Basic Italian class.
- Create, assemble, and maintain currency of the Benvenuti Welcome Tour and Newcomer's information program folders.
- Schedule and pick up visitor's guides and maps from Pordenone Visitor's Center.
- Manage the Benvenuti Welcome Tour on assigned days to maintain safety and accountability, administer critiques and facilitate conversations between newcomers and local merchants.
- Be familiar with M&FRC programs: Relocation Assistance, Transition Assistance, Personal Financial Management, Personal and Family Readiness, Employment Assistance, Family Life education, Volunteer Resource and Air Force Aid Society and refer clients to appropriate staff members within those programs.
- Provide professional, courteous, and prompt service for clients needing workshop information and schedules. When appropriate, contact M&FRC staff members when clients need assistance.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- Knowledge of and experience with M&FRC programs preferred
- Fluency in English and Italian required
- Must be in good physical condition, able to stand long periods of time to include but not limited to climbing stairs, walking or standing, etc.
- Possess good customer service and oral communication skills. Able to appropriately address customer concerns and successfully interact with personnel.
- Must have or be able to attain a background investigation.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: €1,100.00 - €1,250.00 per month

- Aviano, Friuli-Venezia Giulia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Tour guide or hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
