The Role: Due to significant growth in demand for our corporate sustainability reporting, GHG emissions accounting and reduction services, there is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our Sustainability and Climate Solutions team in Italy.
We offer flexible working arrangements and the possibility to work remotely with weekly visits to our Milan office.
Our role as consultant is to help our clients achieve their sustainable development objectives and manage their related business risks and opportunities effectively.
Role and key responsibilities: Act as a project manager, serving as the focal point for client work, particularly across corporate sectors, and leading teams to deliver proposals and project deliverables.Support clients in their CSRD journey by ensuring compliance with regulations and identifying key strategic actions.Lead double materiality analysis to identify and prioritize ESG issues and related impact/risk/opportunities.Develop and conduct training sessions/workshops, contribute to IRO assessment, reporting, and assist in the third-party assurance process.Join teams working on various sustainability and climate-related projects such as ESG action plans, GHG emissions accounting, and European taxonomy alignment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data providers and auditors, serving as a point of contact for clients and colleagues.Oversee the preparation of reports, workshop materials, presentations, and technical summaries.Lead and support partners and teams to develop proposals across a wide range of sectors.Participate in the global network of ERM professionals on projects with colleagues from other geographies.About you: Master's degree in a relevant field (environmental science/engineering, sustainability, accounting/finance, or business administration/finance/economics).Three to five years of experience in the technical areas listed above.Experience as a project manager, generating revenues and managing/mentoring junior resources.Effective written/verbal communication and organizational/analytical skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently; familiarity with data management and reporting tools.Fluency in Italian and English is necessary.To Apply: At ERM, we are committed to building an inclusive culture by identifying, acquiring, developing, and retaining a highly skilled, high-performing workforce that reflects the diverse global marketplace.
