Crisis Management & Business Continuity Manager Job Description SummaryThe Crisis Management & Business Continuity Manager job involves a high focus on developing, managing, and implementing the Crisis Management and Business Continuity. This involves rigorous reviews at a global level and in partnership with various stakeholders, including but not limited to: Regional Security Leaders, Segment Security Leaders, Business and enabling function leaders.
Leads the development of business continuity and resilience frameworks working in tandem with Leaders. Identify Mission Critical, Risk Conditional and Routine Operational Sites, and identify mission critical business processes, with a focus on Business Impact Analysis.
Job DescriptionStrategic Responsibilities Develop a Crisis Management and Business Continuity Program to ensure minimal impact to the business from security events (Crime, terrorism, civil disorder, and both natural and man-made crises) and the rapid restoration of operations.Develop and oversee Global Crisis Management Planning.Partner and collaborate with Business and functional teams to support Business Continuity planning for processes, products as well as mission critical, risk conditional and routine operational sites.Leads the development and maturity of Crisis Management and Business Continuity drills ranging from tabletop exercises to in-person, complex scenarios.Mentor and assist sub-regional security teams on annual threat-based crisis management drills and tabletop exercises.Operational Responsibilities Collaborate a risk-based frequency of Crisis Management Exercises and support security leaders with CM exercise scenarios in different risk markets.Update a central tracker for the regions to upload results and forecasted schedules of regular crisis management drills.Ensure that SRSD/RSD has an Incident response & Crisis Management implemented and tested in regular intervals through a central tracker.Lead successful drills and tabletop exercises.Establish a report out (on a quarterly basis) the results of crisis management drills in the regions and share best practices, follow up on actions and lessons learnt.Qualifications/Requirements Crisis Management and Business Continuity certification.CPP or similar certification.Experience in major multi-national corporations or law enforcement, military, security, or intelligence for governmental agencies.Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent.
