The role: Xylem is looking for a Credit & Collections Manager to manage a team and lead the department in Lainate HQ.
Job Summary: As a Credit & Collections Manager, you play a critical role in managing financial risk, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring timely collections. Your focus is on evaluating creditworthiness, monitoring accounts receivable, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Credit Assessment and Risk Mitigation: Evaluate credit applications and assess creditworthiness. Set credit limits and terms for new and existing clients. Monitor credit exposure and proactively manage risk. Collections Management: Monitor overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts. Communicate with clients to resolve payment issues. Collaborate with legal and finance teams when necessary. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze aging reports and identify trends. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status. Provide insights to improve cash flow and reduce delinquencies. Relationship Building and Communication: Foster positive relationships with clients. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams. Ensure clear communication regarding payment terms. Process Improvement and Efficiency: Identify areas for process optimization. Implement best practices to streamline collections. Leverage technology and tools for efficient credit management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis or collections. People management skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Fluency in Italian and English. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. LOCATION: Lainate HQ
