Our client is currently seeking a passionate Country Manager - Spinal to join their team in Italy and lead the sales of an exciting portfolio of surgical products within the spinal market.

**The role**
As a Country Manager - Spinal you will focus on winning new business with key clinical customers in the spinal market across Italy and propelling our client ahead of industry competitors.
You'll provide a strategic vision and execute a clear and robust sales approach that will effectively market our client's spinal portfolio, delivering product demonstrations in a range of clinical settings and providing excellent customer consultation and support.

- Leading, managing and directing sales objectives
- Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities
- Building specialised knowledge of the product portfolio and latest clinical developments
- Managing resources within the sales area and hitting sales targets
- Producing regular reports and forecasts outlining both current and proposed activities
- Accelerating revenue and market share growth
- Launching new products
- Adhering to legal and regulatory requirements
**The requirements**
- You'll have 5+ years of Spine and/or Orthopaedic industry experience in Italy, as well as: _
- Degree Educated in a relevant discipline
- Strong leadership and management experience, ideally in a Spine or Orthopaedic role
- Experience managing a high-performing sales team is desirable
- Comfortable working in a surgical environment
- Track record of success in a medical sales role
- Demonstrable experience with working in an international sales environment
- Able to develop influential relationships with physicians and key decision-makers
- High level of business awareness and commercial acumen
- Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ideally fluent in English and Italian
- Flexible and willing to travel up to 75%
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
