For our client, multinational company company specialized in the development of photovoltaic projects, we are searching for a:
**Country Manager Italy.
**
The resources, directly reporting to the CEO, will be involved in the creation and development of Customer Portfolio for the Italian market.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Set the long-term strategy, budget and business plan for the country
- Create and coordinate local team to perform in-house development of photovoltaic projects
- Liaise, monitor, commercial and contract management of outsourced projects
- Identify and forge alliances in the country with key stakeholders
- Coordinate M&A closings with local advisors (legal, technical, accounting, tax, etc.
), including the negotiation of SPAs, DSAs, JV Agreements and other relevant agreements
- Manage P&L of the country, owning the financial account from top to bottom
- Report regular operational and financial performance to Corporate Headquarters
**Experience**:
- Master Degree required (Master in Finance or Engineering preferred)
- At least 4 -6 years experience in the renewables sector, with strong focus on solar PV and wind project development
- Experience negotiating the relevant transaction contracts (SPAs, DSAs, JV Agreements and other relevant agreements) and conducting the usual due diligence processes
- Thorough understanding of the regulatory framework and trends in the solar renewable energy industry in Italy
- Experience managing deal and operating teams
- Experience closing M&A and Project Development deals in the renewable energy sector (M&A experience is a must)
- Connections with local partners and/or renewable energy developers
- Italian and English or Spanish language proficiency (both written and spoken)
