Job Description The Cost Controller at Rotork's Lucca plant will play a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
This position entails comprehensive responsibility for monthly reporting to the management team, ensuring compliance with international reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial reports, including accruals, provisions, and in-depth analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast.
Engage in regular interaction with internal and external audits, as well as contribute to budget and forecast preparation.
Conduct variance analysis to enhance cost control measures, focusing on optimizing profitability per job/project.
Perform stock analysis and ensure reconciliation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Assist the Financial Controller in forecast and budget preparation, along with any necessary group analysis.
Support year-end statutory preparations, facilitating communication with both external and internal auditors.
Aid in the preparation of local Transfer Price documentation.
Contribute to the seamless migration of ERP systems to D365/OneStream.
Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated performance.
Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in Italian is advantageous.
Audit experience, especially with a Big4 firm, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of project and cost center accounting, including knowledge of allocations and revenue recognition principles.
Proven expertise in advanced ERPs and Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with BI reporting tools is a plus.
Demonstrated proactivity, teamwork skills, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.
