Description
Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations concerning corporate income tax (IRES and IRAP); Prepare and review all the applicable corporate income tax returns; Manage all the applicable tax incentives and the corresponding projects relevant for corporate income tax purposes and returns, such as R&D tax credit and incentives, Industry 4.0 and 5.0 incentives, Iper and Super Deduction, Energy Credit, Patent Box, etc.; Prepare and document tax positions to strengthen compliance, documentation and reporting processes for internal processes, audit purposes and potential discussions with the Italian tax authority; Correct reflection of Italian tax accounting positions in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process, in close cooperation with the accounting team; Provide guidance and support to the accounting team on all corporate income tax-related matters; Ensure timely and accurate tax provision and financial reporting; Assist with tax planning and forecasting; Provide support in managing tax audits and other related inquiries from tax authorities; Monitor changes in tax legislation, identify and manage potential tax risks, ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and effective; Support the implementation of a tax control framework fully aligned with OECD principles and with applicable tax laws and regulations; Act as internal tax advisor and point of contact for corporate income tax related inquiries and issues; Liaise with external tax advisors regularly to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations regarding corporate income tax and ensure all the applicable corporate income tax returns and filings. Profile
Master's degree in tax /accounting / finance / economics; At least 6 years in-house tax experience in structured corporate contexts; CTA or equivalent certification is preferred; Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written; Strong problem solving and analytical skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively cooperate with cross-functional teams; Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
