CONTEXTMenarini's Business Ethics and Compliance function is a trusted partner in promoting and supporting an ethical work environment and a culture of compliance with the ultimate aim to pursue Menarini Group's mission and protect its reputation.Menarini's Business Ethics and Compliance function pursues its mission through designing Global Compliance Programs and facilitating their implementation and oversight, through education, advice and monitoring, thereby enabling risk-informed decision making and supporting employees to make the right decisions.MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis is a hands-on role that will require you to be able to work in a fast-paced environment.As a member of the Corporate Compliance team, you'll contribute to designing Global Compliance Programs of Menarini Divisions (Pharma, Diagnostics and Oncology), as well as contribute to designing and implementing 231 Compliance Programs for Menarini Group's Italian Entities.Support Corporate Compliance Managers and all relevant functions, in reviewing requirements to satisfy ethical compliance provisions and self-regulation (Trade Association Codes) for all Italian Entities.Contribute and lead any initiative aimed at updating and enhancing Menarini's "Compliance Program pursuing D. Lgs.
231/01", and any other statutory healthcare and anti-corruption compliance requirement.Facilitate, support and contribute - as needed - to 231 Supervisory Bodies ("Organismi di Vigilanza"), including any other compliance statutory or voluntary committee.In cooperation with Corporate Compliance Managers, design and review Global Policies in alignment with internal requirements and external relevant regulations (e.g FCPA, UK Bribery Act, etc.)
and Trade Association Codes (e.g.
IFPMA, EFPIA, etc.
).Support the management of Menarini Group's Italian entities to formulate, refresh and enhance local compliance policies and procedures, and to effectively implement the "Compliance Programs pursuing D. Lgs.
231/01".Design, develop and deliver Compliance Training Plans, specifically addressing both internal needs and external compliance requirements for both Italian Entities and Regions/Affiliates across the globe.Implement Third Party Compliance Due Diligences programs, while performing due diligence on relevant third parties or business partners.Perform compliance spot checks on company organized or third party scientific promotional events, as needed.Support Corporate Compliance Managers for proper implementation of Group Code of Conduct, Ethics and Integrity Policies, as well as any other relevant Group Policy.Support internal compliance reviews and investigations and monitor effective implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.Regularly liaise with business and functional managers concerning the operation and operational effectiveness of compliance programs.Participate in projects with a global compliance focus, including participation in Centres of Expertise: risk assessment, global policies, training and communication, monitoring, third party due diligence, whistleblowing.Prepare reporting, presentations, analysis and status updates related to any compliance initiative and project for the Management of Business Ethics and Compliance function.JOB REQUIREMENTSQualification:• Master's degree or MBA from a globally recognized institution.Experience:• 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in compliance related roles.• Significant experience in healthcare compliance (pharmaceutical or medical device).• Deep and successful knowledge and experience on design, review and implementation of "Compliance Program pursuing D. Lgs.
231/01", including the support and functioning of 231 Supervisory Body.• Intimate knowledge of anti-bribery, anti-corruption and healthcare compliance is essential.Skills and Knowledge:• Self-starter, hands-on, excellent communicator (ability to deliver complex subjects through clear messages).• Very well organized, objective oriented, time and priority management.• Proactive, flexible and easy to adapt to changing priorities.• Team player with ability to work independently.• Empathy, cultural sensitivity and personal tact.• Excellent presentation skills and outstanding use of ICT and any relevant new technology.• High integrity and confidentiality.• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian is mandatory.THE COMPANYMenarini Group is the leading Italian pharmaceutical company in the world, a guarantee of internationally recognised quality.
