MissionThe Cooling Sustaining Engineering Leader manages a multi-discipline team of Sustaining Engineers, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Firmware Engineers. The Sustaining Engineering team is responsible for product design updates for the life of the product beginning after closure of the initial design project. The team interfaces with Level 4 support, CS&Q, and R&D, to provide "warm loop" design updates for customer issues, as well as "cold loop" activities such as updating the design due to systemic quality concerns, component obsolescence, quality value engineering, etc.. In addition, the Sustaining Engineering team collaborates with the Service Offer team to develop and maintain spare part design and definition. What will you do?Manage team of Sustaining EngineersMaintain project timeline/schedule for various team activities to track and provide estimated completion times of various projectsWork with product BOC Manager to prioritize PCRs and assign PEP activities to teamCollaborate with Service BOC Manager to develop and maintain spare partsWork jointly with Customer Satisfaction and Quality (CS&Q) and Product Marketing teams to resolve customer issues and improve offer qualityAlign product design improvements with R&D team to ensure continuity of improvements on future development of productsDevelop and monitor KPIs to identify process and performance gaps, and deploy actions for improvementsWhat skills and capabilities will make you successful?
