Controls Systems Specialist

This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of automated material handling systems.Key Responsibilities:Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary expert for all control systems and sensors within the facility, actively engaging in monitoring, diagnosing, and repairing systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.Training and Development: Educate engineering technicians on fundamental control systems troubleshooting techniques to enhance site-wide knowledge and capabilities.Data Monitoring and Visualization: Collaborate within the EU Controls network to improve the monitoring of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics, providing valuable insights and data visualization to internal stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Participate in or lead ongoing improvement initiatives coordinated by the EU Controls network, driving operational excellence.Documentation and Compliance: Work closely with IT and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive documentation of all systems and maintain accurate backup libraries.Global Collaboration: Partner with international teams to support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring alignment with global standards.Support Across the Network: Provide assistance to other sites within the EU network as necessary, fostering a collaborative environment.Technical Proficiency: Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics while developing strategies for compliance with industry standards.Location:This position is based in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the efficiency of our logistics operations.
