Controls System Engineer

ResponsibilitiesMake an impact We are looking for a dedicated candidate to step into the role of Controls System Engineer working with modernization and extension projects within our current customer base.The position holder will support in describing a solution and corresponding cost in terms of effort estimation and materials from a controls perspective.This includes planning in the sales phase and consulting (and eventually execution depending of workload) during project implementation of the complete system.The position holder works closely with internal stakeholders and has pivotal impact on our controls solutions offered to customers.As a Controls System Engineer within the CS department, your main responsibility will include: You review customer requests and identify requirements for controls and functionality gaps with products and develop possible modernization solutions to our existing customer base.You calculate the efforts and costs for a controls project and consult the account and projects teams in the offering process.You act as the subject matter expert and point of contact from a Controls perspective in the offering and sales phase of the project, as well as through realization of the retrofit / modernization project.You consult the controls project teams during integration to ensure controls solutions aligns the design requirements.Application RequirementsWhat you need to succeed You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/controls or equivalent.You have a broad experience working with PLC software, PLC Hardware/ Electrical systems, Hardware design and installations, as well as in depth knowledge of our Swisslog solutions.Short Facts Maranello, Italy Swisslog, hybrid Controls Permanent Position
